What's the deal with filters?
I've been trying to decide which corn cob pipes to buy and I've noticed that some are filtered and some are not? Filters seem to be pretty cheap, but are they necessary? I'm sure this is like the cello on or off question with cigars, but I'm just looking for personal opinions.
