Go ahead and put up a 1 in the loss column.

There are no "good" losses, but this one was particularly bad because it wasn't a fluke loss, teams WILL be able to replicate this strategy in the playoffs. Cincy didn't do anything special, they just lined up and ran it down their throats while mixing in a timely pass completion or two. Conversely, Holmes got shut down. Run defense and a running game are what help you win the playoffs when the weather gets bad. The Chiefs have played 3 teams with that are in the Top 10 in run defense and Holmes had a good game against only one of them. Guess where Tennessee, Miami, and New England sit in that category. 1st ,2nd, and 7th.

KC still has to be considered the favorite, but it doesn't seem like as likely as it did 24 hours ago.
