BRAND NEW! WEST TAMPA RED

I was fortunate enough to see Rick Rodriguez at a recent event and he gave me a couple of pre-release samples. This cigar is beautiful, with a nice dark San Andreas wrapper. There are light sweet notes from the foot. The cold draw is perfect.

The initial flavors are an almost floral but in a full flavorful way, along with the distinct flavor of the wrapper. The ash is mottled grey and falls into the ashtray. The burn is even.

During the second third the flavor is very smooth and flavorful with fading flavor notes with lots of earthiness and pepper. The ash continues to fall but the burn is still even.

Approaching the final inch the profile is a very pleasant mix of earth, cedar and wrapper spiciness. The ash is the same and the burn is very even.

Overall an excellent smoke. The complexity is excellent and the construction is great. 9.6/10, Joe Bob says check it out. The release is set for May.

They're like a toned-down version of the atttic series, but they are great.

I have been seeing this cigar all over social media. I have not had any of his cigars yet.

I am leery of floral, I once had an Alec Bradley Mundial that was very floral, and not appealing.

I'm with ya on the floral comment, reminds me of the nasty infused "cigars".
