Won A Pipe
I just won a pipe for $2 in an estate sale. What are the things that I need to do to get it clean for me to use? What do I need to replace?
Don't know what I don't know.

How’s the finish? How’s the condition of the inside of the bowl? Is the acrylic stem faded and cracked?
If you think some work is needed, there are plenty o go good sources of pipe restoration experts. Maybe Andy (ak2000) can recommend someone? Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

Let's see a picture! Who I recommend for refurb depends on how much work it needs.

I haven't really had a chance to look it over very well. Looks clean, no cracks. Some teeth marks on the mouthpiece. Can't see in the bowl because it has dried tobacco in it.
I'm on duty the next two days. I'll try and get some pics up by the weekend.

First things first... Remove the tobacco from the bowl. Be gentle but make sure you get it all out. Next, wad up a paper towel and clean the bowl out. Then take some pictures and let's see what you got.
