The Falcons lost their star safety to a torn acl on the first day of training camp.

Injuries plagued the team last year. I haven't started following the Saints yet.

Holy Crap. Today's stage is stopped at the second-to-last climb of the day due to heavy hail and water on the road at the finish. WOW. I have never seen this in all my years of watching the Tour.

The yellow jersey has changed hands, due to this, and everyone's time is reckoned from the check point atop that last climb. This is huge and unprecedented.

In other news, Saints' wide receiever Michael Thomas is holding out of camp as he is negotiating his contract. Hard to believe he's here three years already.
