Climaxx Premier Question

2 of my humis are "Disply Models" that hold aprox 100 sticks laying down on an angle and with a GLASS top.

Since there is this glass top - I don't have any way of hanging the Premier unit from the top - instead I have it tucked in the corner of the humi - but it is "upside down" if you will --- the under side with the 2 holes you inject the water into is facing down and I'm concerned that the water is never getting to spread to all of the beads - like it would if it were hanging from the top of a humi and gravity was allowed to spread the water.

After 3 weeks, I'm having a problem of getting the Rel Humidity above 60-62%......and yet - in another humi with a wood top and where I hang the unit from the top - the RH is 69-70% without fail...
Any ideas if the "upside down" theory may be the reason for the problem?
