I've been using the original model with the metal body for years. It's a fantastic cutter that far outperforms anything else I've ever used. They don't come with a leather cover, but just write to them and they'll send you one, gratis. Only problem was the screw coming loose, but they tighten easily. I understand they've fixed this problem.
