I recently started using an antique fridge (~4.5 cu.ft.) as a humidor and I can't control the humidity to save my life. The fridge is about 1/4 full of boxes, with no cedar shelves or anything yet. I started using 1lb. of 70% Climmax beads and the humidity was regularly above 80% at 65-70*. So then I went and picked up some stuff called Dri-Z-Air (http://shop.store.yahoo.com/safetyfi...zmoisrems.html) and put just a little bit of the Calcium Chloride media in the little basket. Well, that stuff just sucks the moisture right out of the air! It seems to hover around 70% for a little while, but it just keeps dropping. I checked this morning and it was at 61%/70* and probably still going down. I'm getting a little frustrated chasing the humidity all over the place! Any suggestions? TIA!
