Sending out a feeler about these. Could some of your guys give me some honest opinions about this brand and whether or not anyone has tried the maduro that is to be released in a couple of days at RTDA. Are they worth putting in the store?

I have had the Oliva "O" once and in all honesty -- I want to give it another chance before stating an official opinion. I think I may have gotten a "dud" It had a very hard draw and this affected my smoking experience -- but I'm not gonna give up on these yet! Like I said...probably just got a plugged one.

The O's are a very good cigar. One of my favorites. I haven't had the maduro but I'm waiting on them anxioulsy.
The presentation is great as well. In a nutshell, Yes they are worth putting in the store. As a matter of fact all the Oliva products are winners IMO. Edited by - sevenmag on 07/21/2002 10:21:50 AM |

I like the "O" line also, but have found an occational hard draw or uneven burn, which is unusual for an Oliva product. Haven't seen or tried the maduro version yet. Our local shop sells a sh**load of Oliva regular line and GC line.
SSJ...Smokestack Joe? The other SSJ ?!?!?

I really liked the few "O"s that I've smoked, and I'd sure like to see those maduros become available.

I like the O's a lot. Can't wait for the Maduro line!
It's not the quantity of cigars that matters, it's the quality (like ISOMs). |
