If you had about $250 to spend...

What sampler/box/5ers of what ISO/ISOMs would you go for? I may have a bit of extra cash to drop and I'd like a sampler or box of great cigars but not sure what to get... so any ideas?

Well its hard to really purchase a sampler of isoms, most places dont sell small quantaties and if they do they jack up the price a good bit. First off this would be better in la casa, second you would probably be best off goign to the trading room or la casa and asking some FOG to put together a cuban sampler for ya so you can get a good taste of the variety cuba has to offer. If you would rather just have a great box well for 250 you could pick up a box of boli pcs and boli cjs, or boli pcs and san cristobal el principe. But if you havn't sampled a lot the best bet would be a FOG sampler

I would contact a member with a deep stash and beg him to sell me some of his cigars...

Now that's a novel idea.

If I had it I'd buy some Mag 46's and some Boli CJr or RASCC. I'd have to add a few bucks but that's what I'd get.

Seriously though, the tradng post is usually full of fivers for sale. Just check trader comments.

That's a great Idea.
You want to sample a little bit of all the fruit prior to buying a basket

and, from first hand experience, I can say that you will NOT be disappointed. You will get a nice selection of finely cared for and probably somewhat aged Habanos. Won't he, Jeff?

Or, in Bud's case, all you'd have to do is get your ASS to Houston some time, and you'd have twice that much dropped in your lap!

Perfect (IMO) choice of cigars for that kind of money, and spot-on advice regarding the Trading Post....and trader comments.
