CigarMedics Humidimeter

Anyone have any experience with the CigarmMedics Humidimeter?

Was generously blindsided with a gift of one yesterday and am interested in any info on them, but especially any tips on using it, and pro and cons of them.

Thanks,
Sean

It doesn't look like you got an answer on this, and I'm sure, by now, you've figured some things out about the Humidimeter. I just posted my interview with it's inventor that might be helpful. In my experience, I like to see about a 63% reading on the foot, anything higher seems to burn too wet for my liking. It's important to note that the internal moisture content of a cigar increases as it's smoked, so starting a little low isn't bad. It's also not unusual to see a couple of points swing from head to foot. in the end, it's just a guide, but I've found it's saved me from smoking a cigar either too dry or too wet.

Hope this helps!
