Pardo travel humidors
How are the Pardo travel humidors, especially in terms of air tightness and durability?
They get good reviews on Amazon, but I'm always skeptical of possible fake reviews by a company or Amazon. Looking at the 15 to 20 cigar case here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...MUV11AV3&psc=1 Thanks, Sean I friggin love cigars |

After looking around, think I'm going with the Pardo as its the cheapest for that capacity, largest for the price at 9.5x8x4, is the same as the more expensive ones aside from coming with stands, cutters, punch, etc which i already have, and is a known name to me.

Doubling up on my Pardo gear.
The 4 in 1 tool seems great, especially for travel since you have everything you need in 1 package, and the travel humidor seemed to have the best reviews for the under $50 ones, and I'm not shelling out for a Xikar that isnt any different except for the name. Will be testing the humidor with a 65% Boveda (the rh i keep all my cigars at) and my Boveda Butler, to monitor how well it holds rh over three days. Will also report on the tool, as i plan to use it regularly to replace my scattered, individual items. I friggin love cigars |

Too lazy to take a group picture, but over the years I've bought way too many travel humidors based on my actual travel needs. Many have been redeployed for other tasks. That's the nice part about a quality dry box, you can always find a use for them.
That said, the foam is going to be a more important consideration than the box. Since Pardo is an unknow for us, maybe post a question on the item before buying asking specifically if the foam is odorless. Nothing worse than discovering the foam stinks of petro-chem, or something else you don't want sealed in with your cigars. Back in the day, there were suppliers of foam only for many Otterbox sizes. Sometimes you could pick up an Otterbox on sale and order the foam to complete it yourself. Maybe save a few bucks over ordering a purpose-built cigar box. |

If i detect any, will definitely leave it open to completely outgas as it wont be getting used until summer anyway. By then it should be odor free if there is any. It does get great reviews on Amazon, so i think I'm pretty safe. I friggin love cigars |

I have 2 Otterboxes. I like them. My phone case used to be Otterboxes.

Well that's surprising. Otterbox has gotten out of the dry box game except for a single remaining model. In the past they had a wide variety of sizes covering a pack of cigs up through 20 or so double coronas.
Ok, I see what happened. Cigar Caddy is actually Otterbox spun off as a new brand. I guess cigar storage didn't play well with their new focus on phone/tablet protection. That makes sense from a branding perspective. |

Have had their cases on my last to phones, which I'm prone to dropping frequently and so far either I'm really lucky, or they did their job. I would continue to buy their phone cases I friggin love cigars |
