Tobaccos that need aging

Based on what Mike said in the other thread and my extremely limited experience so far, these need to be aged as I don't think they're ready right out of the tin. I will add to the list as I discover more.
PS Luxury Bullseye Flake
PS Luxury Twist Flake
Orlik Dark Strong Ky
Samuel Gawith Brown #4
Samuel Gawith Full Va Flake
Samuel Gawith St James Flake

Most Virginia and Virginia blends age well. This includes Virginias, Virginia/Perique, Virginia/Burly, Virginia/Latakia. English and Balkan blends do not change much when aged, but they don't go bad either. Tinned tobaccos in this class can be aged in their sealed tins indefinitely. I have smoked tobacco from 20 year old tins that were fabulous. I have seen tins as old as 30 years old where the tobacco was in good condition.

Heavily cased aeromatics do not age well at all. The casings go bad leading to terrible flavors. Aeromatics need to be smoked fresh.

OK I think I figured out the problem. Not necessarily fresh Vs. Aged, it's Va heavy blends that do something to my palette. Just can't enjoy them.

That may (will) change.
Me, I have completely lost my lust for Latakia.
I now smoke almost nothing but Virginias, VA/Pers and Bur/VA/Pers.
I need to start selling/trading the Lat blends in my cellar.
