This cigar has a smooth, dark and oily wrapper. The bunch is firm. Aromas from the foot are earthy. The cold draw is perfect. Today’s beverage is a Lorelei Brewing Merdude Imperial Russian Coffee Stout.

The initial flavors are earth and mocha. Black pepper is in the retrohale. The burn is mostly even.

The mocha notes settle down to a solid coffee note with an earthy base. The pepper in the retrohale is light. The ash is solid and the burn remains even.

During the second third the burn begins to slant but self corrects. Some of the previous sweetness has returned to the flavor profile. Some cocoa notes have appeared in the retrohale.

Approaching the final inch the complexity of flavors remains excellent. The construction is also very good. This is a full bodied smoke. 9.4/10, Joe Bob says check it out.

I remember when I first saw the photos I was scratching my head about the "Hand Rolled" label.

Is this a Ltd run of cigars or just a line extension?

Either way, it sounds like another winner for Pete and Tatuaje.

It's a special release that accompanied the world premiere of the new movie "Hand Rolled," a cigar industry documentary.
