Making a fan for my humidor

I'm making a little project out of customizing a fan for my humidor. The humidor isn't big enough for an Oasis but is large enough where a fan would make a difference. The biggest problem I have is, running a cord in to the humdior is pretty much out of the question. So I need to make a fan that is battery operated. I talked to a friend about this and he said it can be done using a small computer fan, 4 rechargable AA batteries and would last about 3-4 days. Does this sound right? Or does anyone have any other ideas where a battery/batteries would last longer?

Thanks in advance,
JD
