I have only had a coolidor for less than 2months. I thought I would want to put weatherstrip but there has been no need. It seals very well. It is a 60qt Igloo "Ice Cube". I put a few cedar boxes in there and 1/2lb of 65% Heartfelt beads. Has been holding steady at 67% since I started it. Amazing how easy it was to setup and maintain.

Why would one need weatherstripping?

Coolers are pretty airtight as it is. Plus, it's actually better not to be 100% airtight. If it's not airtight, it will allow the cooler to breath a little. One of the draw backs of coolers as opposed to a wooden humidors is that you need to "burp" them every so often.
