IPCPR Fratello Corona
This was yet another dark, supple Habano beauty with a very intense tobacco aroma. Leather and earthy, the smell actually captivated my senses pre-light.
The initial burn was very straight with quite a bit of smoke and flavor. Even though it smoothed out some after a few minutes it settled into a very good, medium body experience. There wasn't much in the way of spice or pepper but the heft of the smoke made up for it in flavor. It had a long finish which I appreciate in the absence of spice. Ecuadorian and Peruvian filler combine to give this a slightly unique taste, one that is very enjoyable and lasts a long time for the size. Few touchups were needed with this one, the burn was straight and even. I don't typically let ash build up but this was a bit flaky so I tapped it off a little more than usual. Overall this was a very nice cigar that I wouldn't hesitate to pick up when I had the chance.
