Commissioned pipe group buy?

What do you think of this idea? I had commissioned this pipe from Martin Cermak (C Pipes) last year, but didn't take it because I thought the stem was a little too thin and short. However, every time I show the picture I get positive response, so just throwing it out there. Definitely an awesome looking pipe, but my concern is that Morta tends to get hot, so this short and thin stem may not be best? I'm no expert and could certainly be worried over nothing. If we buy 6 he will go 135 euro delivered each. This was based on a Askwith design that was selling for $350 on SP. Its sandblasted Morta with a decorative acrylic ring and red/black hand cut Cumberland stem.

Is it a reverse calabash pipe? If you don’t like morta, have it done in briar.

Looks like it, I will check. I like the Morta pipe I have, but just had a concern. Briar is not going to look like this I don't think? You have a small short morta pipe from Martin and I've never seen you post any negatives about it at all, and it sure looks fantastic.

I do have a small morta pipe from Martin, my favorite travel pipe. I like morta pipes because they look cool. The pipe pictured definitely looks cool.

No it's not, he said "if it was briar it could, but in morta it would have too thin walls for reverse calabash"

Me, I'm not really into "nose warmers."

I am going to ask for a longer stem and larger bowl, so the final design will be a larger pipe...

The original dimensions were:
length: 130mm, 5 1/8"
height: 50mm, 1 62/64"
width: 44mm, 1 47/64"
drilling: 21x36mm, 53/64 x 1 27/64"

I want to get closer to a 1" bore and at least another 1/4" in length

Nope, not interested in Morta pipes any more. If I had $135, I'd spend it on more tobacco!
