Over humidification

I have an older CO that had been working great. Some time over the weekend something happened and now all my cigars have an yellowish oily substance on them. Many of them look very wet and some have gotten a bit wrinkly. Question - does anyone know what it might be? How do I restore my cigars so that they don't appear wrinkly? BTW, whenever I handle the cigars, my hands smell very chocolatey, like the oils from the cigars have just burst forth onto the cello, etc.

get them back to the right RH and wait. Its about all you can do. Not sure why overhumidification would make oils pop to the top.

Have you been keeping an eye on your RH?
If so, I doubt any severe damage would occur over the short period of a few days.............

Well, the RH was normal, right around 68%, but there were these oily droplets everywhere, including the wood surrounding the CO...it did look like there was very little water left in the cartridge...
