Are cigar mail/internet retailers starting to freak out?
Any word on the street of the likelihood of the proposed ban on mailing cigars becoming law? If this were to happen I believe the cigar industry would be devastated. I know some brick and mortar retailers think this would be a great thing, but the reality is that this could destroy the cigar industry. I know that if I had to pay NY prices that I simply wouldn't smoke cigars. Or I'd figure out a way get them through other means. There's no way I'm paying local retail prices with the crazy NY taxes.
