as long as they use good hops, I haven't found one too hoppy.

chocolate, fruit? Yes.
I would have been the first to poo poo the idea a few years ago, but have been splitting Dofishhead limited bottlings with my buddy, and have liked every one of them.

It's the pure bitterness from cascades and Bravos that turn me off. No character whatsoever, just bitter.

I was absolutely stunned to hear one year that a brewery made a beer that had wormwood in it. High hops, and then wormwood in the wort to take it to the next freakin level of foulness.

Not correct.
A nice pilsner is the cheapest beer to brew. Hops, are dollars per ounce, where malt is dollars per pound.... but a pilsner takes skill and care.

hops go so well with strong cigars, and of course, to each his own, but some of the extreme opinions here are surprising, and well, less than appetizing
