Couple of weeks ago I got "Sharp Dressed Man," and the arrangement my teacher gave me was stupid-hard. The main hook he had me playing in chords, as opposed to the way ZZ Top plays it, and I seriously felt like I had gone back to Day One. Kept working at it and now I can sort of almost play it, at half speed.

Came on the radio during the 6-hour drive from my Mom's house yesterday, and I realized the arrangement I got was unnecessarily difficult, so I went to youtube to find something more realistic.

Maybe bslack can get the drum part down and we can play it together just like this one day.

Pretty easy song. Mostly C & F with an occaisional D thrown in. At least that's how we play it. You can play just about any song in different keys. We go with what fits the vocalist's range.
