The Sylvester Croom Award
The Sylvester Croom Commitment to Excellence Award will now be called the Bart Starr Commitment to Excellence Award.
University of Alabama Coaches decided to change the name because they don't feel it's appropriate to name the award after an opposing coach. Croom was quoted as saying he's more than disappointed. He's excelled in his football career so they rename the award. Way to go.
