Wife's Rules of Cigar Etiquette

When my wife and I go out to dinner with another couple, if I bring a cigar for myself, I must bring a cigar for the other guy. If I think I may want two, I now must bring four. If I only have one for myself, I can't light up. If we meet two or three couples, this gets rediculous.

So the wife's rule is: Whenever I'm in the company of other guys, I must have enough cigars for everyone or I cannot have one myself. Although this may seem right, it's not always practical. We have a lot of company and I don't have a lot of cigars.

What's right here guys? Can't I ever enjoy a cigar without feeling guilty?
