I had a pretty significant pipe collection for awhile. So I've seen and smoked lots of the various types.
As the article says, those are old souvenir pipes. They made them in that style into the 20th century. If they are unusual in some way, figural, cool fittings, they might be pretty collectible. What you have is transfer print on porcelain. Fairly plain. No fittings? Someone looking for a bowl might buy it. But yeah, they aren't great to smoke. There's nowhere for the moisture to absorb so there is usually a trap of some sort. Tip it the wrong way and you get a nasty sip of crud.
Briar and meerschaum is where it's at. Can't imagine what you might get for them. You could list them on eBay or etsy. It's a very small niche market. Expect the worst and hope for the best.

Or I could be wrong and they are wildly valuable!

Still can't decide. I've gotten busy with lots of stuff lately. They don't take up any room so they can sit.
