B's on ESPN's Thursday Night Hockey
Hopefully they can pick it up some and come away with two points.
They also traded Kyle McLaren who's been holding out, along with a fourth round draft pick, to San Jose for Jeff Hackett and Jeff Jillson. Hopefully a proven goalie will help them come around. ![]()

Interesting turn of events.
Now the more interesting thing will be to see how Jose Theodore plays. He's been spotty this year, does this take some pressure off, or does this take TOO MUCH pressure off of him?

According to the reports I've read now it ended up being a three way trade that put Hackett in Boston. Those don't happen that often! He was a Shark only for a brief moment.
McLaren + 4th round pick (BOS) -> SJ Sundstrom + 3rd round pick (SJ) -> MTL Hackett (MTL) + Jillson (SJ) -> BOS Very confusing... Hopefully Sundstrom can get inspired in the cold of Montreal! Cheers! ![]()

Yep. He was in SJ just long enough to get traded. Hackett should do the trick in goal for now here, and based on the way Raycroft played last night he's probably gonna be ready to be a number 1 NHL goalie by the time Hackett retires. At least that's what I hope.

That's a real good trade for the "B"s----Hackett is legit in net!!!
![]() Unfortunately, it's probably not enough to make the Bruins serious contenders. ![]()
