Advice on a sale with stranger
So I sold a pretty nice driver the other day to a stranger in chicago. Everything went fine, item was delivered, then the dreaded text, "I think someone stole it from my house." He lives in a gated apartment complex and says the driver was definitely delivered but is now gone.
He will be getting the $50 insurance, but the driver was worth more than that. I don't know this guy at all. No clue whether the driver actually was stolen or not. What do I do? Do I refund him and take the hit? Split it with him? Be glad he got the $50 back? The driver, my asset, is gone. However if it's all on the up and up, then he isn't getting what he paid for. What would you do? Last edited by macsauce13; 10-16-2015 at 05:38 AM. |
