For Aaron and Rafa, do those ruin the brand for you? The ones I mentioned, along with the Alec Bradley Mundial, are done. I didn't enjoy even an inch of most of them, and know I never will. Now the Mundial is a great cigar, the tobacco was really well-cared for, it burned almost perfectly, and I smoked the whole thing in order to write a review. But for all three, I couldn't enjoy the flavor, and knew I never would.

yeah, I'll give them a third to square up and sometimes have to do the same. Shame, that's a good cigar.

Phil gave me an RyJ double corona to smoke at sunset at The Camp many years ago. Turned out it was a tent peg, even as a tubo. I tried everything to true it up to smoke, but it was easier to get smoke out of a broomhandle. Probably the most expensive smoke I ever had to give up on and toss.

A buddy gave me a cigar he had removed the band and asked me to give it a try. He said he enjoyed the stick immensely. So, that evening after work I fired it up and immediately it took me back to my childhood. We would sneak out to the woods nearby and crudely roll a "cigar" with "rabbit" tobacco. It tasted like ass. Harsh ass. I texted him and said no way am I finishing this stick. I did give it another 3-4 mins but just couldn't do it. Come to find out it was a Chillin’ Moose by Foundry.

The other that comes to mind and has already been listed here are HC cigars. Nope. Double nope.

Interesting. I smoke those regularly and have never had that reaction to them. I'm sorry.

Partagas Spanish Rosado

They were really hyped when they first came out years ago. Probably everyone here on cwbb tried them at one time or another.

When I finally got one at a shop in Indy, I only got about two inches in, and put it down. It was the dirtiest, ashiest tasting cigar I've ever tried.

Never tried another. Hope no one else had the same experience.

Are those the ones whose red dye made you look like a $5 whore when you smoked one?

Actually, it was a beautiful cigar.

Still available, as far as I know.

As far as something I would never buy again, and I'm sure I'm very much in the minority, is the Opus X's.

Used to love them, but the couple I tried recently after many years without one, were just way too strong and overpowering to the palate, and didn't enjoy them at all.

Same with the Anejos.

Gave away the 4 each I had left to someone who would enjoy them.

Currently have 2 anejos and a Power Ranger that will be getting used in a trade or just gifted to someone when I have the money to ship them.
