Cigars you didn't re-light when they went out.

I am not one to normally talk bad about cigars I didn't like, but heck, it might be fun at the same time. Which cigars did you swear never to smoke again? Or, better, if it went out at a quarter of the way through, you simply went and got something else?

For me, there have only been a couple where I put it down and said, never again.

Most recent was a Mark Twain Churchill a couple years ago, that Uncle Lawrence gave me. I THINK it was a natural. About a quarter inch or so in it went out, and I told myself "Tommy, that's enough of that. Don't waste the butane on 'er."

Another I remember from a while back, like 2009 or 2010 at the IPCPR show. EasyT, Tim Wong, was working for Rocky back then, and he gave me a Cargo. It was new that year, and it was going to be their bargain super premium. Nope. Never again. I see they feature prominently in the CI catalog, and I simply laugh and say it, "Nope. Never again." It was scratchy, literally, in my mouth.

La Escepcion. The first year, great. Second year tasted like Lemon Pledge. You know how you spray something and get a whiff of it that tastes funny? Like that.

Arganese. On the their original release the fat guy from the Sopranos who was whacked for being gay was part of this deal and was in Ann Arbor for an event. Couldn't get past about an inch. Just tasted awful. I was not the only person to have this opinion.

He tried twice, I think. Once with Arganese and once with Alec Bradley, I believe. He was here, in Metairie, for an event, and sat there smoking coffin nails and hardly talking to people. Second time I saw him, at IPCPR, he was better.

The HC cigars from CI. You would think being made by AJF would be good, but they failed the test for me. I ended up giving them away.

Wooooow!
When they were introduced by Xikar 12 years ago, they were made by Jesus Fuego. I haven't had these in a LONG time.

They're way better now, and have a couple of blends. I've got some resting from maybe 3byears ago.

In my 15 years of smoking cc's and nc's. I have to say that there have only been a handful that I didn't enjoy at least somewhat.

Generally cigars I don't buy more of are ones that were fine, but just not good enough for the price.

I just had a CAO Brazilia that I had to let go. The age on it killed the flavor for me.
