Sounds good for a holiday treat. Do they have a gingerbread syrup or do they mix a few flavors?

OregonDuck, it is actually syrup they use. They do not mix a few flavors from what I understand. I am a yuppy starbucks addict, and openly admit it. Recently I purchased a coffee maker for the house, and have been making me own stuff. So far it has been fantastic!

This morning I tried a Starbucks gingerbread latte and it was an excellent companion to a Upmann robusto and a walk in the park. I rarely drink lattes but this was an awesome treat.

This is my sick little confession, I am absolutely addicted to these. I've been traveling quit a bit lately for work, mostly to small towns in the Pac NW, and Starbucks is usually the only joint in town. I'm just not a big Starbucks fan, but I'm a much bigger fan of Starbucks than I am most of the hotel coffee I've been drinking. Anyway, these gingerbread latte's are nothing short of liquid candy (literally). This isn't what I look for when I drink coffee (I like it black), but these things are disgustingly yummy. There, I admitted it... I feel so much better now.

So, are we talking about coffee, or dessert?!! Personally, I prefer coffee, but I do like some flavored creamers sometimes. But, as far as coffee with all those diving names (i.e., half-caff mocha latte with a twist), I can do without.

Gingerbread latte is a must try. Don't get anything larger than a grande, I find the ventii to be weak in flavor no matter what the drink. I am going to have to order the syrup online and save it for a rainy day!

Syrup in coffee means the end result is something other than coffee.
A splash of Baileys is another story.
