When I first started using my Haier, I had to put 3 blocks of foam with distilled water. When it finally go above 70%, I put in my Climmaxx beads. Also suggesting putting a fan in there with a timer. Any computer fan will do. This will help a little with spreading out the humidity through the entire fridge.

When I did my measuring, I put the hygrometer in an empty box and noticed that the humidity did not fluctuate inside the box as much as outside the cigar box.
