Cigar Oasis Question
I had my Cigar Oasis in a cheap but great 150 cigar humidor. Worked fine for a two years. But recently I've acquired 5 boxes of cigars and needed larger storage. The igloodor was the way to go. I have put some 3/8" spanish cedar planks in there until I find the time to attach them (I know it's not necessary but I love the smell). I put my Cigar Oasis (after I topped it off) in the igloodor as well as my cigars (about 50 loose cigars and 5 full boxes). 3 days later, the humidity is still hanging in the high 50's. Thinking it was my hygrometer, I salt tested it and it's still dead on (+2%). At first I thought the igloodor was leaking more than the unit was producing but the unit NEVER turns on unless I crank the gray knob all the way up. My unit has a little hole drilled into it with a tiny screw visible. However, I have no idea what it does and don't want to touch it until I know it's purpose. Any ideas as to what the problem is?
