I was just reading about the tribute concert for george that clapton, paul, and ringo, among others will playing. And it got me thinking about george's music. I have to say that there are many guitar legends, clapton, jimi, page, et al. And they are all wonderful. But i do think that george was and still is under rated and under appreciated by most folks. he wasn't a flashy player, his leads were very often short and sweet. they always seemed just right for the songs. but like the saying goes, the great ones make it look, and in this case sound easy. jmho. George you are missed!

Isn't it a pity!
As a devote Beatle fan he will be surely missed

Some of my favorite Beatle's tunes were written by him.
From all accounts he was a caring and generous man also.
