I'd had my fill of turnips and rutabagas as a kid. I never had a parsnip before 45 years of age. I love them.

Along with several health benefits (shrinks hemorrhoids, clears warts, aids digestion) horse radish's ability to clear one's sinuses is well known....far better than a neti pot.
