About a week ago I received my temp controller and Climmax beads for my fridge. The temp controller works beautifully and it's always between 65 and 72 degrees. Right now all I have in there are two of my 100 count humidors until I can build some cedar shelves for boxes. The temp/humidity inside the humidors is perfect, but outside the humidity is above 80%! This is with a full pound of dry beads. I did notice that it dropped to 58% when the compressor kicked on, which seemd weird as it is not a frost free fridge. After that, it goes back up to around 80%. The fridge is an old (probably 1950's) 5 cu. ft. unit. This is starting to worry me. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? TIA!
