Blazer Lighters and Customer Service
I had just read a couple of threads about how good the blazer lighter is and next thing I know, I'm at a friend's house who just got the Blazer CG-001. Being a cigar gadget guy (aren't we all ) after I got home, I went shopping and found a site with a few different blazer lighters. It was late on Saturday night when I ordered 2 of the CG-001's and the Z-Plus (the Zippo insert). I got all the customary e-mails and went to bed. Tuesday morning, I received an e-mail from them stating that one of the colors was out-of-stock but he was expecting a shipment Wednesday - could they ship the order on Wednesday or did I need the other 2 right away. (Did I mention this was a free shipping special?) Of course I told him to wait a day. Well, they arrived on Friday and one of them, while still having a good flame, just didn't have the "oomph" (same description I used with them) that a Blazer should. Could I exchange it? Sure no problem - just send it back. Now here is the best part - as soon as I sent him an e-mail telling him I sent it back - he put my new one in the mail, before he got mine back. Excellent customer service and a very pleasant person to deal with. So, if you're looking for a Blazer lighter (they don't have all the models but they have 5 - all on sale with free shipping), especially if you want to buy the Zippo torch insert which is very good and very inexpensive $9.95 w/ free shipping, give www.humidorhaven.com a visit.
