Kraken black rum
Got a bottle last week.
I don't know what makes a rum good. Seriously. This is supposed to be 94 proof but tastes milder than any liquor of that strength I've ever had. it's got just a touch of sweetness, and I'm not tasting any "spices" in it as it is labeled. The stuff is swarming with cocoa and coffee like flavors. dump a little simple syrup into the bottle and you have an after dinner liqueur. I poured an ounce in a glass earlier, and have been sipping on it. I'm not sure, but I think I could grow to like this. |
