RIP Pete Rose

I watched many Pete Rose baseball games in the 1970's.

Charlie Hustle set the tone for the Big Red Machine in the 70s. I understand he broke the rules, but if MLB has even a minimal amount of class, they'll put him in the Hall of Fame posthumously. He belongs there.

Joe Jackson is still not in there 100 years later.
Pete Rose had opportunities to submit, to admit to what he did and be embraced by "baseball." He chose not to do so. I loved him as a player, I, too, was a fan of the 1970s version of the Reds. Pete Rose made his own bed.

I got this in 2021. Met him in person and watched him sign it. The cost would have been $65, but I got it free through my office.
