Depends on the tobacco. Some blends can be loaded right from the freshly cracked tin. Others really need some drying time. Anywhere from 1-3 hours seems to be about right for most flakes and ropes for me.
I'd much rather have too moist tobacco as it allows me the final say on moisture. |
