Cigar Newbies- what's your favorite cigar to date?

Like to know what other newbies have been smoking, maybe get some ideas for future consumption. I've had two jr alts montecristo 2 and a corona, nss sungrown, maria mancini maduro, private stock and guaranteed jamaican.
The cigar that i enjoyed the most is a padron 3000, a nice easy draw with lots of smoke and just the right amount of flavour for my newbie tastebuds.
I'm going to my first herf in a couple of weeks and i will be trying a cuban montecristo #2, i'm very excited to try that one, my first cuban at my first herf.

That's tough - it seems I always have a different favorite cigar. The Padron 3000 was it at one time. Then it was the Padron 5000. As of more recent - it's been the camacho machito - one powerful little smoke. I've also found Alec Bradley Cigars to be a nice change of pace. Good cheap cigars - the Havana Sungrowns and the Occidental Double Maduros are good and cheap. You can't go wrong with Torano anything. All I can say is - too many cigars, too little time and not enough money!

The Cuesta-Rey sungrown is probably my favorite.

By far the La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero for a full full bodied smoke. The Torano Exodus Gold & Silver for Med to full and Partagas Black Magnifico for a nice med to full maduro. But why limit yourself? Buy 5 packs of anything that catches your eye. If you don't like them hang on to em till you have enough to trade. Chances are that even if 100 people don't like a certain smoke there is always someone out there that smokes the hell out of them and will graciously trade.

For me it was the Onyx Reserve Mini Belicoso that got me hooked.

But lately I have no desire for it. very odd.
