Doesn't matter to me I know who wrote what but it seems kind of petty.

I think Paul is right. The only person "tarnishing" John's legend is Yoko.

He just wants his name first on the songs he wrote. I'm sure Lennon would say "whatever makes you happy and keeps the checks coming to Yoko is fine with me mate"

personaly, i could care less who's name is first...i always figured that if Paul sang lead, Paul wrote the song. same for John.

Ringo was quoted in RS this week that it was actually John's band, the others came in on it be he (John and Ringo) were on the fringe while Paul was a workaholic.

What's even more amazing is that this is news and we talk about it! The Beatles has to be the most influential, talked about band in rock.
