You rang? Actually MD and Wankel, I had avoided this question. I think this fits in the "Do not try this at home" category. Can it be done? Why certainly, but it involves using hazardous chemicals that are not readily available at your local Walmart or Walgreens. Also you would have to determine the correct salt content so that you end up with media that controls at the right %RH Just adding some salt to the silica gel doesn't work. The salt has to be incorporated into the crystals.
