Curmudgen, I have a Haier 30-bottle, I'm not sure of model number. The temperature is adjustable within a limited range, which is good enough to maintain a temperature in the mid to upper 60's. I find this ideal.

Yes indeed the temperature and RH fluctuates. I have experimented extensively with this to minimize the variances with limited success. The trouble is that all these fridges are cooled via compressors. The cooling plumbing runs through a metal insert along the back wall. When the temperature rises above a set point, the compressor kicks in and runs until the temp drops to the desired level. During this process, the RH suspended in the air tends to condense on the cooling surface, which causes RH to drop, then slowly climb back up. The compressor runs every 10-15 mins, for approximately 3 mins, depending on the ambient air temperature. The proposed fan helps with evening out the temperature, but it does little for stabilizing RH, in fact it may make RH fluctuations even worse in some cases.

Without writing another novel here, I suggest you search the archives for similar posts I and others have made here for helpful tips on how to set this up.
