Leaving for 2 months at the end of August...Humidification?
I am leaving for 2 months at the end of August and will be living out of a hotel
While it will be nice to rip smokes int he hotel room, I need an alternative form of a humidification vessel to hold my smokes at the right level. I was on the phone with Dave from Cheap Humidors.com today, and well, he sold me on the Cigar Caddy xxxx (the one that holds 24 smokes). Will this be cool for 2 months(although I will drive home on occasion, I will spend most of my time there)? What I am asking is: Will this box be able to be used for 2 months with minimum maintanence(I wont need to take the smokes out for a few days for a re-charge or something like that? How hard is it to season and keep these at 70%? How hard is it to initially season these boxes? Do I need a guage, or will I be OK without one? I will open the thing on a daily basis to choose a smoke, but other than that, I will keep the thing closed. Sorry for the newbie q's, but I am new to the traveldor thing. Thanks, Fred |
