CA Bay Area - temp controlled or not?

I'm having a new humidor custom built for me, and am trying to decide whether or not to get it temperature controlled. The humidor will be in a house located in South San Jose, where temperatures can reach 100 degrees on a few days during the summer months.

The house is brand new, and well insulated. I will have the A/C running most of the time during the summer, although I would expect the temperature in the room to hit 80 degrees (maybe even a little higher) during the daytime in the room, as I won't be cooling the room much below that when I'm at work during the day. Do you think I should get it temp controlled, or would I be ok without it?

The cabinet is from Petroglyph, and is based on the Lava Java design.
