Nice cabinet! The exotic hardwoods are expensive. The process takes alot of time. A custom work requires some figuring for each individual Cut piece. Arlin basically sliced his own matched veneer!
Many years from now an Antiques Roadshow guy will be able to tell that Arlin made that cabinet. He definitely has a distinct style. If you buy something slapped together on an assembly line in a factory, you will save alot of money. And you will have a cabinet that is just like thousands of others. And it will have a limited life expectancy (my opinion). You gotta pay $$ for true quality craftsmanship. |
