Not necessarily, storing them at 70% shouldn't cause flavor and color changes, though 65% gives the best aging results. You'd only see sponginess and excess moisture in the high 70's to 80's. In the case of overhumidification the syptoms are usually uneven/slow burn issues rather than flavor issues.
