Most over-rated band of all time
WARNING: SACRED COWS WILL CERTAINLY BE BUTCHERED ON THIS THREAD. PLEASE CONDUCT YOUR DISCUSSION PER THE CW GUIDELINES AND DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING SAID HERE PERSONALLY.
The "greatest band of all time" thread got me to thinking. Which can be dangerous...  I'll start, and illustrate why I posted the warning at the top of the thread: IMO, the most over-rated rock band of all time would have to be Led Zeppelin. Followed closely by the Beatles.

Doors and Floyd. Van Halen is way overrated too. They would have never had a hit song if Eddie didn't have, past tense, super 80's chops. It still sucked, but was good for getting layed.
