Coolerdor question re: room temp

Yes, I read the sticky, but I still have a question. My understanding of coolers is that they are very resistent to outside temperature. Does this mean that I can place a coolerdor in a cold room (small dark room with large a/c vent) or my dark cool basement without worrying about the room being too cold for the cigars?

I would like to keep the temp inside the cooler somewhere between 65-68 degrees F. Would this be feasible if the cooler is in a room where the temp tends to hold steady at 55 degrees F or perhaps as high as 72 degrees F?

Thanks....
