KRISTOFF PCA2022 SIGNATURE

This cigar has a rich dark somewhat rustic wrapper. The perfect cold draw evidences rich tobacco and light coffee notes. Today’s beverage is a Lakewood Salted Caramel Temptress Imperial Milk Stout.

Initial flavors are very rich tobacco with hints of coffee and a dusting of white pepper over an earthy base. The ash is medium grey and looks fairly solid. The burn is mostly even and I think it will be fine with revolving. The early retrohale is mostly smooth with a hint of white pepper.

In the first third a woody note while the coffee and pepper notes sublimate. The tip of the ash fell off almost immediately (fortunately in the ashtray). The burn is even with regular revolutions. The ale is a very good complement for this medium to full bodied smoke.

During the second third the wood notes develop into cedar. The rich tobacco and earthy notes remain steady. The light dusting of pepper remains in the retrohale. The smoke is almost chewy thick and very flavorful. The ash continues to drop at short intervals and the burn remains even.

Approaching the final inch the flavor profile remains excellent. The ash continues to drop in the ashtray at intervals and the burn remains even.

Overall a very good smoke. Definitely worth finding. The construction is good and the complexity is excellent. 9.7/10, Joe Bob says check it out.

@jefslat

Based on your flavors description, this is right up my alley.

All I'm finding is the Kristoff 2022 PCA Exclusive Box Pressed Perfecto 6"1/2 * 60.

It appears about the same as yours pictured. Is this the same, or close to the Signature?

Also, nice review as always

I friggin love cigars

Great review.
You can get the Lakewood beers down there? I didn't know they had expanded their range that far. They make some really good beers, I love their lager during the warmer months.

Dang, our HEB here in Waxahachie right outside of DFW doesn't carry it, so any time I'm in DFW I stop into a liquor store looking for it. Great beer.
